Klichko wins in the battle with Ibragimov


World Champion the ukrainian Vladimir Klichko defeated Russian Sultan Ibragimov, that had the WBO title, in the first since 1999 boxin fight of the champions of the world in the heavyweight.


The fight in the famous arena "Madison Square Garden" in New York, mostly in the past tactical struggle lasted all reserved for it 12 rounds and was finished with counting points. All arbitrators expressed a preference for Klichko - 119-110, 117-111, 118-110.


The first four rounds of fighting took place in the same tactic: Ukrainian had a big advantage, and Ibragimov tried to drastically reduce the distance and hit with the left hook, aiming it in the headof the enemy. The match was not too spectacular, and the audience has already started dissatisfied screaming after the second round .


A first strike power attack with the right arm Klichko made only in the middle of the fifth round, and the attack occurred just-in goal. Ibragimov continued to operate in the same way, but all of his breakthroughs to the enemy failed, missing a lot ofstrikes.


End of the battle went to Klichko, which ended with many combinations of clean shots with both hands. Ibragimov has not found the key to his adversary in the battle.


After the end of fighting Klichko thanked spectators at the New York scene for support. When the TV channel HBO commentator asked how he evaluated this fight Ukrainian said: "I was supposed to unite the belts, and I did."
